One month left on the warranty. The internal locking/unlocking switch seems to be broken too. Mum says she was driving along and it was locking/unlocking........not so good!

Just going to see if its still under warrenty!

My mum bought my 172 cup from me when i changed cars and now the central locking is playing up. Sometimes it goes through a lock/unlock cycle when she tries to lock the car. I think it might be moisture in there some where but i dont know where the controller for the central locking is located...

Ive got a thule rack from my friends at Dales;) Just watch out that the pads dont mark your roof, they need to be spotless when fitted, i had 4 nice rectangular marks on my roof after using one for about 6 months..... Eventually just ended getting some thick blankets and putting the seats...

Pop the bonnet, its on the top left corner just by the wiper arm. Small black flap. IIRC.

For circuit racing my extinguisher has to be within reach while you are strapped in(with harnesses). Dont know if hill climb regs are any different?

If they ask, just say you clean your wheels with soapy water. Dont tell them if you use any acid type cleaners as they will probably blame it on that.

My rear nearside shock started leaking after 16000 miles on my cup and i had to pay a percentage of the cost due to it being a wear and tear item! Only ended up paying about £20 but i think it depends on the mileage done. Sounds like you would have to pay more!

I think its one of those situations that if you hit an evo nothing more would happen. Cant see how they could sue you unless it was deliberate? Just unlucky, but im sure if you took an evo out on the track you would make sure you were insured. Just the same when doing a race. Say sorry then walk...
