Hm mk... on the other side of the bar is the bolt. So i think i'll just take it to my mechanice friend an he can do it :) The talk of oil going places has scared me anyways. Your help was amazing mate, thankyou so much! I was only guna do it cause i'm changing some alloys over. Thanks again!

That helps thanks! Sorry though, the bar won't move, i mean how can i knock it out away from the car when it seems something is holding it in? I know rust is prolly making it stiff, but hmm it's hard to explain...even if i did it that bar, the is something on the left stopping me from slidding...

I read how easy to change the pads it is so just put my car on axel stands...took wheel off...now i'm stuck :) My search for rear pads doesn't help much as i seem to keep getting disc guides.

No i can't even losten the bolts holding the callipar on lol...out of wd40...damn.

Hey guys...new to the forum. Anyway got me a 172 with no brakes...as in no pads left and as a result fooked discs. I have bought the green stuff pads etc and some discs off ebay (haha worth a shot 99 quid for four!)...and could have a go at fitting them to the car myself? Looks easy enough on...
