I get about 90mph in third on the standards, but my GPS says 90 is actually about 85... and even up at !30 it was actually !25, so about 5 mph out consistently over the higher end of the range. Lower down, i.e. 30mph on the speedo is actially about 28, so only a small discrepancy at lower speeds.

Sorry about all this Rhys! Regarding insurance, I always understood that you only lose 2 years no claims bonus for the first claim, so you should still have 3 years which will make things at least semi-affordable.
