dont worry about reverse mate my fiesta does it and so does everyone elses who I know and my dads Vectra & his westfield do it too, it must be all gearboxes in general. i think someone explaned to my y they do it once but i was pissed and cant remember lol but it made sense

thats a Joke, so what if you need new parts for things that they have to remove to fix a problem! you should not have to pay 4 it. if the pump did not go in the first place u would not have to pay 4 these parts. its sounds like a renault costmer relations call mate, dont take that. Good luck...
