I'm inclined to agree but the fact he said it was in comfort mode etc makes me think that someone checked. All I can think is that it dropped a wheel into the mud at the edge of the road and that combined with the back end going light over the bump made it snap sideways.

Yeah Mercs are almost always autos so it’s no surprise that even the spiciest of them have been predominantly auto too.

Even easier, it’s just a normal NRG quick release so you could get any wheel you like, buy a cheap NRG and away you go. I still rock the ES as a road wheel, albeit with a chinese 13 inch carbon rim, but if you were more after something like a GT3 butterfly or F1 style wheel the KS is dirt cheap.
