Mk1 Ph2 Clio That's a relief as that would mean taking the door card off again:(

Whilst putting the new window in my car I noticed the below was sat in the bottom of the inside of the door:S I've not got a clue where it goes other than it's something to do with the window. Does anybody have any idea of what it is & where it fits?

I've just got back from having my car assecesed & it would be classed as an economical write off in the eyes of insurance but because insurance isn't covering the repair it's still classified as being roadworthy:cool: So the car is still alive just looks in a battered & bruised cosmetic...

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=96083 I'm hoping that I can get away with just a drivers side door & window to make it 100% roadworthy. If the shell is twisted or the rear quarters need replacing then it'll be scrapped.

Insurance won't pay out as i've only got TPFT & the accident was my fault. In the pictures above the drivers door is actually closed shut but there is big gap between the join of the A pillar & the door. Whereas the gap should be flush which each other.

The impact was @ under 30mph so low impact speed really. All I can say is thank god for stopping @ the 1st red light as that was coming out of a national speed limit zone so I would've gone through the 2nd red light @ a much quicker speed.

I'm totally 100% fine & dandy. Just a quick shake of the shattered drivers side window glass out of my hair & I was back to my normal self. Here's some pics:( Initial impact on left rear quarter: Drivers side after skidding down the road:

I accidently went through a red light on a roundabout & got hit on the left rear quarter panel by another car, which then flipped me on to the drivers side on my car & I sent skidding down the exit road & then landed bakc on all fours with the front facing the curb.

My car is now battered & brusied after scrapping down the road on its side:( I think it's repairable as it stills starts 1st time & drives straight:)
