i have searched the forum and havnt seen a post on this and its really annoying me! i will try and keep it short:
i have a JVC cd player and have wired a sub and amp which has been working perfectly for about 7 months the other week i hit a slight bump in the road...
did you find a fix fir this? i think i have a similar problem, a clicking noise sounds like its coming from my steering wheel :S very odd noise only when turning though
i have a green light so defo power going there and turns on/off with my ignition, i thought it may have been faulty RCA leads so i bought some more but still no luck, its been a very simple job turned into a right baaaastardd, no i dont have a voltmeter :( its driving me nuts mate lol
This is driving me insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane!! everything is on all jacks in the right place everything on my head unit is on subwoofer but nothing! is there anyone who lives near stroud (Gloucestershire) who could give me a hand??? theres a pint in it!
my amp is attached to my sub, heres how i connected it mate:
12v - blue cable
PWR - power cable
GRD - ground
and i have a good ground,
My phono leads where red and black and they are red and white on my head unit and amp so i put the red in red and black in white :?, didnt realise it would...
I managed to attach the wire, i stripped it in the middle and stripped the amp wire and connected them together, i got all the cables through and connected i have a green light on the amp but no sounds coming through yet :/ any suggestions? thanks all
no manual unfortunately, im pretty sure its the blue and white wire in the other connector (not the one i labelled) just stuck on how to connect the one from the amp to this wire :/
hi guys thanks for all your info, i will be sure to go onto the opposite connector wire! my head unit is a JVC KD-R401, so how do i connect this wire? i would really appreciate some help tonight as tonight is my only free night and really want to install it tonight :( thanks guys

Hi, great spotting there!! yes it was so far out when i bought it, turns out the strut was bent, it was -3, it was so noticable at first but since it has been fixed but still slightly pulls to the left (which is what it was doing before the fix) no idea why but need to look into it at some point...

Thanks mate :-), i have a feeling they are off a 182, thats what i thought when i first seen then, thats probably why i was attracted to them, i really have no idea, they where in crap condition when i bought them but i refurbed them and made them look some what respectable, thanks :)
