I had a lot of fun heel and toeing last night - something I miss since having a DCT car.

There was nothing obvious on the test drive. Got the car today and I guess at 7k RPM it's a bit notchy, but no crunch. Anything to worry about?

I'm off to look at a Clio 200 shortly, is there anything in particular I should look out for. I understand there's a common gearbox issue. Am I right in thinking it's usually a synchro issue into 3rd? Is a particularly notchy change an indication of future failure, or can they carry on forever...

That looks like it's pulling at a funny angle. Do you perhaps need to realign the black plate to line up with the entry angle and fork better?

As Fuzzy said. Insurance excess on the ring rentals is something like 2500EUR at a minimum isn't it? That's probably more than your Clio would cost to replace, surely? I say take the Clio.
