They obviously thought the diff had a manufacturer fault and did it to keep him sweet. Me personally, i would have got an independant examination from a garage, taken it to them and got them to pay for the lot!! Warranty or not, diffs shouldnt just explode, surely. Mike

What about the coil?? Have you checked if there is a feed going thru to the coil all of the time. If your coilpack is temperamental, this may cause a lack of spark? When there was no feed going to my coil the engine turned over but wudnt start. Also, when you try to start it, can you hear...

I was just wondering what the best course of action was? Both of them have come with runners attached to the seats and both with subframes, one of which is bent. Would i be better off getting a 2nd hand subframe (part that attaches seat and runners to the floor) or just using clio MK1 runners...
