Check that the seal is seated correctly, my wife's RSi was soaking on the driver's side and I found that the seal was not quite pushed in properly on the back corner. Got a small screw driver on it and it's been perfect ever since. If it's perished then you can buy one quite easily on ebay etc.

Bit of a long one this, so sorry in advance.
OK, driving along the other day and my cam belt tensioner broke, shattered the cover and all engine power died. Pulled in and it wouldn't start again. Called my mechanic and he has now fixed it and after replacing 8 valves and all necessary...
Finally pinned my mate down to build my custom exhaust for the cup. It sounds nice and quiet on idle and throaty when you hit the loud pedal. I no longer sound like a chav :)
A sad read. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that. No-one got hurt. Not even the fox! You've learned a lot about Clio's by tinkering about with it and if you do decide to buy it back and break it, you'll probably have most of the money that's needed for a trophy, along with the payout...
