The wheels i have bought are 100+ Vulcans wrapped in 205-40-17 Toyo peroxes rubber.

Has anyone had this modification done to there MK1 or MK2 172.
I phoned the dealer who fitted my powerflow up to the cat to ask how much to fit a de-cat pipe. He told me it will cost £88 all in, BUT, he told me there is sensors both sides of the cat to show up faults, and the sensor light...
Still, i know what id rather drive. I cant stand saxo drivers. Here in Aberdeen im sure they think they drive Ferraris. Oh and if any saxo drivers read this please dont start moaning, its only my opinion and i stick with it.

Simon, Where the hell have you seen a mk1 for as little as 7k. If it is that price it must be an import with a million miles on it. The cheapest mk1 ive seen was a w plate with 19k on the clock frsh 1 owner from new, mint and my mate had to get rid of it quick as he was moving to Australia...
I just took off my 17s at the weekend as i think the snows going to hit soon. When i took off the rear pass side i noticed that there had been a fair bit of scrubing, its rubbed away a lot of the inner arch about 20mm wide by 250 mm long and a couple of mm deep. The tyre is also a wee bit slick...
