Well replaced the thermostat and coolant temp sensor flushed the entire system and filled with genuine type d coolant cars running great lot to be said for using genuine parts won't be making that mistake again!!
Yeah had the blead screw out when filling up with coolant them when it had a constant flow coming out put the screw back in so ave had to order a genuine thermostat and coolant temp sensor so hopefully this cures it if not don't really know what to do from here?
Yeah tried 2 thermostats and 2 coolant temp sensor sensors non genuine to no joy looks like a should of just bought genuine can be the only things that won't allow it too heat up surely?
Bump anyone?? Took the car for an hour long drive tonight then last 5 mins gave it a bit of stick wouldn't rev over 6.5k instead of 7.2k anyone ideas???
Hi all l have a clio 172 ph1 has had a water pump, dephaser pulley, timing belt kit and aux belt kit all genuine items trouble is the temperature gauge on the dash is sitting at a quarter instead of half way could it be because I have fitted a non genuine thermostat and coolant temperature...
hey all my girlfriends 1.4 dynamique clio the blowers work on speeds 1,2,3 and then on 4 stop working am i right in saying this would be the heater resistor? also could someone tell me where its located?

So well worth the money then and should eliminate my knocking completly with both mounts?
yeah had a good look underneath and they all look good
the only way l could do that am guessing is loosen all the mounts and postion it differently!

if the car is accelerating it makes this noise looks asif the cat is banging off the subframe l cant fit my finger in between the gap of the pipe and the subframe it has a polybushed dogbone mount and the rest of the mounts are standard what are peoples views on this? get a fabricator to make me...
