We're going back a few months now, but I've not managed to get around to sorting this yet.
Can anyone else comment on whether they've needed an ignition feed (some threads I've seen suggest not), and also, would it be possible for an idiots guide to wiring from the fusebox to the parrott (ie...
Thanks for this - I was guessing that might be the cause, although my multimeter packed up so I couldn't check.
Strangely most other guides/instructions seem to suggest it's a straightforward connect it up and go, unless those didn't have the tomtom.
Is it just the ignition feed that the...
Just realised that his clio has the TomTom sat nav screen, which must be linked to the radio (as the radio stations show up on the screen).
I'm guessing this might be part of the reason I'm having problems if everything else is working ok.
Yep, give me a couple of mins.
Just read somewhere else where it was suggested the mute cable shouldn't be connected to anything. Presumably that's not right, and it should be connected?

Hi
I'm looking for a replacement flexi hose (the one that runs from the intake to the air box).
Does anyone have a part number, or know where I could order one? (Or have a spare lying around).
Cheers
Thanks all
Leads and plugs were changed (the plugs were looking pretty bad), and it's driving perfectly again at the moment.
I'll pick up a couple of injectors to fit when I get a chance as it sounds like it might be a temporary fix, but it's back to normal at the moment.
Strange, drove fine this evening when I picked it up. He took the plugs out and they were pretty knackered.
Light hasn't come back on since, but sounds like I may need to buy an injector or two to be safe.
The code reader the RAC guy had showed a misfire in Cyl 1 (generic code reader though).
Not sure what the garage have done, but this guy is a bit old fashioned. The other mechanic is back tomorrow, and he's more up to speed with diagnostics I think!
