Ok, thanks. There's no rattling from it yet so I'll leave the dephaser pulley for a while yet. May take back the waterpump I bought today aswell :o save me 20 quid.

When does the dephaser pulley need replacing? I've just bought a 2004 182 with 50k miles. Taking it to a specialist to have the cambelt and aux belt changed and probably the waterpump at the same time. They said the dephaser pulley will probably need replacing at the same time too- is this about...

Ouch... think I'll give them a ring myself tomorrow aswell to see if they can fit the parts. Fingers crossed.

What work do you need done? Not a cambelt & aux belt by any chance? Would be interested to know what they charge as haven't heard back as yet. Do you know if they fit parts aswell as thinking it may be cheaper to buy a cambelt and aux kit and get it fitted by a specialist?
