Hey guys, swapped my car over the other day, from the 172 to an Impreza. Be careful if any of you do the same with them, i've been stung for £217, just for them to change the vehicle over. Obviously I didn't know this at the time, otherwise I would have cancelled it. Just checked my paperwork...

I have 2 amps in mine bud, and i went without the power block [only as i live in North Wales] and getting one is a ball ache. Can easily hide all wires under passenger side trim.

well at a guess, after what you have been going through, i would have a stab at faulty head unit. Dont suppose you have an old one lying around? or just borrow off a mate for 2 mins, to double check if the RCA ports on your headunit are bad
