Nowhereman, This limiter is normal at 6K RPM when the oil temp isnt up to normal (even though water temp is normal. Sometimes for me it can take 20-30 mins for the limiter to go to 7200 in winter or if im not driving hard even longer. Maybe this is the cause? When I think the oil is hot...

I am in Aus and know of many Clio Sports with weird brake pad wear... Mine are fine after 23K, but some had shat themselves after 10,000k. Apparently Renault have been replacing these if you kick up a fuss.. Which dealership are you going to?? Good luck. :D

I would stay well away from Hankook, Kumho, and all Korean tyre brands. Its either cheap or its good. I have spoken to some tyre people who have nearly hung up on me when i have asked fro prices on Hankook et al... Just trying to make the road a safer place... Paul
