Anyone had any experience with these ? They look quite reasonably priced.

Bedded them in as per instructions in the box. First a few easy miles followed by 40 stops at 50% by which time the brakes smelt good and hot and no squeaking. Seemed to do the trick. Finished off the bedding in process with a day of the two of us thrashing it round Oulton park.

We did a similar conversion on our Trophy - but used 300mm discs and fitted the bigger master cylinder - and because we're fussy we fitted 197 rear brakes as well (same sized discs but bigger pads) The brakes are now exceptionally good. DS2500's are excellent as a road pad but in my opinion...

Bookatrack require a half cage for a Clio - not sure about the others.

If you're heavy on the brakes it's quite easy to get the brakes hot enough for the discs to warp (even brembo HC)- especially if there's two of you sharing the driving - that's my experience anyway - and that's with cooling ducts and cool down laps. I know many on here will disagree and say...

Got to be 16 inch wheels because of the 197 4 pot calipers and 300mm discs (15's wont fit) : Just trackday use so no specific regulations apply. I guess there's not much love for slicks on Cliosport..........Maybe I should just try 888's as a dry tyre.
