This is true, some places wont take it. But again it depends how young you are and whether the saving is worth it for you. It was for me ;)

Yeah i always go for the biggest excess, as the amount you save over the years normallly would make up for what you would have to pay out in the event of a knock. And if you dont get that knock then your squids in :D

Personally i aint impressed with the spec on the JL 8W7, except of their very large excusion lenght. But you can get a perfectly exceptable bass responce from a 8", can from a 6.5" as well just needs a very good cab design. My views any way
