ok, old turbo is off and exhaust side has snapped off. as the inlet impeller side is ok and its just chucked some oil down the exhaust do i need to clean the intercooler etc? the old turbo looks like it went cos the oil feed banjo was blocked up so i think i will be ok?
I'm in Cornwall. I don't really want to fork out 600 quid for a turbo but I understand there are some bad ones floating around with crap Chinese parts so want decent one for as little as poss!!
I need a new turbo for my scenic. Tried usual places like ebay but worried by them.lol. so anyone no of anywhere? Don't think can be saved so exchange or new.
well about three months ago it just died on me and stop warning light came on. it started but cut out straight away so i left it and came back to it. it started fine and i used it for three weeks when it did the same thing. so i took it to nearest specialist who read the codes. one was low fuel...
ok does anyone no which one to go for? do i need anything else? as i assume the actual plug is different on the vehicle so will i need an adaptor? are any vehicle specific? cheers
yes why not. its not difficult to get people to come this far southwest, most of them seemed to be here last week lol.
well as i can walk to the track from my house it would be rude not to turn up so as long as its not my weekend away count me in
Well I guess if it's scenery you're after that's fine. The coastal route takes you that way. St mawgan nice too. You need to go further west for driving roads tho. A good hour west to be honest.
Be warned is an epic dead straight road just past the trackwhich I have been informed ahem you can hit a ton on. The police have been known to keep an eye out but it is rare!
