OEM Headunit retrofit - cannot enter code

Hi - this unit is a tuner list. The first one was an auditorium or something. My car is a 2005 model. I can try another maybe. My car didn't come with a CD autochanger (I think) so I could try a more basic head unit but I'm guessing here.

OEM Headunit retrofit - cannot enter code

Hi all - I'm bouncing this as I have bought another unit from Ebay thinking the one I bought was not correct for the car. The new unit when plugged in comes to life. I don't get the enter code option. When I press buttons I hear a loud beep coming through the stereo. Essentially the exact...

Gasket for dephaser cap - available?

Hi - I've finished my timing belt job and noticed what I think is a missing o-ring or gasket. I see what looks like a plastic ring on the old dephaser pulley but don't think I could or should try to save it. Can this be replaced or is it new cap time..

Advice Please - Engine out belt change - loosening pulleys

The crank locking pin is a Sealey aftermarket item. As such I don't want to risk putting too much force into it. I will have another go with it tomorow when the horseshoe is in perhaps. My belts were last changed 10 years ago!

Advice Please - Engine out belt change - loosening pulleys

I managed to get the dephaser snapped free using the tool without the horseshoe bar inserted at the rear. But the exhaust pulleys is pretty tight. I imagine if I can get the horseshoe pulleys into the rear that would help stop the pulley moving. The engine is slightly out of time already but...

Advice Please - Engine out belt change - loosening pulleys

Hi all. I'm midway through an engine out full service. I have removed the aux belt but think I missed a trick not breaking the exhaust, dephaser and crankshaft pulleys loose before taking the engine out. I have the genuine renault locking tools. I don't belive I should put any force locking...

How to remove PAS pipe - engine removal

I'm somewhat committed now to engine out the top. I've bought a straight flared spanner from amazon which I hope will get in there My only other option is this joint on the pipe itself.

How to remove PAS pipe - engine removal

Hi all. I'm in the process of engine removal but one last bolt is preventing me lifting the engine out. The bolt connecting the power steering to the pump. I cant get a 17mm spanner in there. I've tried a crow foot spanner but there is no room. What tool can get in there? The other option...

Hi - sorry for the multiple threads on this topic but I've performed this before several years ago without issue but this time I'm having issues. I have a new to me 182 and have bought from Ebay a headunit which I think is compatible. My car had a storage box under the passenger seat which Is...

What OEM head unit works wirh this harness?

Hi - I want to put in an OEM head unit into my 2005 Clio 182. My research told me that the Cabasse auditorium was the best unit but the one I bought has different plugs. My harness doesn't have the same plugs. I also want to retrofit bluetooth using an adaptor into the CD input or aux...
