Thanks for the guidance so far. I've just tried it again and it's just cranking over, no firing. I can't hear a fuel pump from the rear and annoying parked near a wall so I can't open the boot. The red light (solid round circle top centre) goes out, so I'm ruling out the ECU for now.

I've just seen the price of the interface you linked. They are only about £6 from aliexpress. I'm almost certain they are all from the same chinese factory.
Hi - I'm having an issue with my 182. A few weeks ago it was parked for a few days and when turning it over it would not start. no sign of firing at all. I assumed it was perhaps battery related and put it on a charger. Its a second car so not a big issue. When I went back to the car it...
I've also got the ebay one, it works great for what it costs. I prefer the OEM stereo look in the car. The only thing which annoys me is the 'Car on' , 'Pairing', 'Connected' messages in a low quality chinese voice. Ive not tried the phone call features I assume they are pretty poor.

Hi - I've finished my timing belt job and noticed what I think is a missing o-ring or gasket. I see what looks like a plastic ring on the old dephaser pulley but don't think I could or should try to save it.
Can this be replaced or is it new cap time..
The crank locking pin is a Sealey aftermarket item. As such I don't want to risk putting too much force into it. I will have another go with it tomorow when the horseshoe is in perhaps. My belts were last changed 10 years ago!
I managed to get the dephaser snapped free using the tool without the horseshoe bar inserted at the rear. But the exhaust pulleys is pretty tight. I imagine if I can get the horseshoe pulleys into the rear that would help stop the pulley moving.
The engine is slightly out of time already but...
