iv seen them fail at my garage for different rim and different tyre sizes on the same axle. Unless it's changed recently I'm not a tester myself so I don't know all the legislation how would the tester know the rolling circumference? Have to work it out? Or measure it? Iv never seen it done but...
Different size wheel on the same axle is a fail yes so you can't fit the spare. Iv seen wheels fail for cracks but I'm not sure about that. A lot of it is down to the tester themselves but I think they would to cover themselves.
It is true mate I had the same pipe on mine for MOT and its a dealer only part came with the bends but didn't quite match up so had to bend it bait myself think it was about £30
When mine does this I pull the engine management fuse out with ign on and shove it back in again then it starts. Nobody could give me an explanation for it. Also only happens when parked facing downhill.
Had this on my megane went really heavy/squeaked and bait notchy not smooth to depress. Changed the cable and it was so much lighter. Took the old one apart found it very hard to move the cable in and out of its tube it was full of dirt and rubber that had gathered over the years. Think I've got...
I know disconnecting battery's on vw's brings on lights randomly that can take a while to go out and can't be erased. Not sure what it means but I'd turn it off and start it a couple of times and drive it. If not could need other diagnostic equipment to erase?
