Any updates in regards to how this performs?

Can anyone help please? I have removed all original wiring loom including UCH and am in the process of making a new one but carnt get the wipers to return to park when operating. I have tried an additional permanent power supply which did not solve the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't think that could be down to the oil then?

I've had the gripper in for 5 years, only 'clicks' on turning in really slow in 1st gear. Never had the constant clonking before.

I'll get it out after work tomorrow night. So might be too late as I've done about 20 miles in it?

Was rebuilt by a local chap called Martin at agency transmissions. He replaced the pinion shaft, 2nd, 3rd, 4th gears, syncro rings, bearings and seals.
