Anything with more than 4 cylinders, big lazy yank v8's sound superb on tick over or full chat. To me the new GT500 is one of the nicest sounding cars around at the mo.

he's probably right, have you had a new alarm / sterio fitted where the wiring might have been damaged or fried. The best thing you could do is take it to the stealers, it's about £70 for the diagnostic test I think. Did you try the dash test. Next time the speedo stop's working find...

Could be a few things technically. A fault with the ABS rings, though unlightly unless you are experiencing either warning lights or feedback through the brake pedal at low speed. A problem with the ABS sensors which takes the reading from the rings. A problem with the wiring, or something...

I've never owned a car that new! My 2001 clio I sold a couple of months back was the newest car I've ever owned. I know what you mean about that age though, some cars hit it and you might as-well order another cheque book from the bank.

Could be worse, I've seen one made out of white waste piping for plumbing in bathrooms with the 90 and 45 degree plastic angle connections to make the shape of it fit the rear of the car.

APC is All Purpose Cleaner, even house hold stuff can be used as an APC. The strongest I've used is G101 made by auto smart. You dilute 1:10 with water, get that stuff in your eye and it feels like grit. edit: or see post above
