Bit of news. I’ve decided to race in the civic cup with a close friend and another who races in the Porsche championship with the same club that run TCR touring cars and British GT. It’s too good to turn down. So long story short I’m breaking the Clio. Will be putting up a parts list soon.

@robzracing won the last race I entered in his 172. You also have classes within the race. Lot of the Clios seem to be in the top half of the grid

I can’t watch vids of people going into the gravel at paddock. Gives me flashbacks ?

Started racing last year so hopefully I’m up to date on it ? Your right step one is getting your go racing pack. Then Ards test has two parts. A driving test. I was probably going 50% pace. Keeping on line and concentrating on brake markers the examiner points out. Really nothing to worry...

Any recommendations? I find all the geo stuff quite interesting and want to learn more.

Armtech battery isolator is what you want. Install it near the battery then has a push button for inside and outside the car to kill it. The cheap cut offs won’t work with these as the alternator will keep the engine running. Really smart kit and looks way better than the horrible turn key style...

As above. The BC top mounts are good too

Had BC’s before upgrading to AST. If I wanted a set for a grand I’ll go straight back to BC.

Just picked up the inlets and throttle body from M.S Customs Engineering. Really happy with these.

Slow the car down ?

So my luck continues. 1.5 track days later and the gearbox sounds like a bag of spanners. So that got ripped out for a rebuild. Also took the inlets and throttle body off as they are off for port matching/gas flow. Going to give the group n timing a try. Bought a new trailer aswell...

Snett 300 is our first race. Bedford is local to Charlie who looks after the car but always have trouble with noise there.
