Sounds like your missing the front splitter, not a major issue, my 172 doesnt have one on (: prefer it, give the bumper a more deep look.

Just curious whteher i got a good deal or not? 2001 Clio 172, 87k on clock, 3 prev owners, brand new 35mm springs all round, new discs and pads and 12 months MOT, rather good condition outside and immaculate inside. Paid 1200 for it :) oh and cambelt was done at time of MOT and the last owner...

Only thing i can think of is get a really small piece of red vinyl in a circle just to put over the hole you can still see, but that involves taking the renaultsport badge off again....maybe get the new style RS Badge?

Where did you get those rear lights from??

A few people will laugh, but theres a youtube video on how to do it, thats how i learnt to do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02OAzLkbgwk Just make sure you have all the tools to do it and dont loose any bolts or screws!!! ;)

My 1.2 was running at about 36mpg, cleaned the throttle body and saw an increase to around 39/40...not a difficult job to do, as said up there ^ the breather is rammed full of dirt and oil
