Magnex is the way forward.....nice and deep at low revs...goes nuts after 5k but nice for crusing at 4-4.5k revs....not too much louder than standard on motorway @ 70mph

The cup is just faster on paper IMO. However imagine your 172 is 3 up racing against a 172 that is 2 up. Who do you think would have the advantage and win??

the most fun car ive driven was an Elise around silverstone....was much better than the ferrari....2nd would have to be my CUP.....and 3rd would be my dads fait uno 45 (yes thats 45bhp) I was 17 just passed my test and i loved it...used to thrash it a fair bit!! quality:devilish:

How many of you 172/cup owners think you have taken your car to its limits?!? and i dont just mean the redline....i mean all of it, cornering..braking...the works! I know ive had my cup for 4 months and it still feels as tho its got plenty more to offer and ive been raging the t*ts off it!

Not the most thrilling subject but Ive just got back from a 150 mile round trip and the trip computer is showing 42.1 mpg...im totally amazed, i wasnt even doing 50 all the way...more like 70-75. I normally get 32 round town but 42 on a run is mint!! what a car:D

I got insured by AXA insurance when I was 20 with 1ncb on 1 yr old clio 1.2 16v sport for £550 fully comp (also 2nd driver..my dad..but i was the policy holder)

Im defo number 1 ... might just be because its new.... and that fact that my girlfriend has sworn to me that ive got to keep this car for 5 years!! Cant change it after 10 months like my last one:devilish:

Ive just been out in my cup for a bit of a drive. I started off just tootling along listening to the lovely sound of my magnex. Then a bit of open road and i drop it a cog and floor it.....this goes on for the next 10mins:devilish:....not really pushing the car to the limits tho...dont want to...

Didnt think it felt any different when i got my magnex put on(just wishfull thinking).... but still, sounds awesome!!

Does anyone know if fitting a backbox will release any more horses???? :confused:

Nah mate wasnt me, my reg starts N4 , I drive to shields whenever i want to take my car for a spin but with no particular place to go.....
