I have the same exhaust and I find it's just a little bit louder than stock. I've got a standard engine, standard interior and all the sound deadening,

Get new tyres, rear pads and discs then run it for a bit and see if you want to keep it Hows the rust? thats the real expensive fix on these!

Tried this on mine as well - did nothing :confused: I don't want to risk a heat gun incase I melt them.

Did it not have an inline fuse that should blow first?
