    This. Mine failed it's MOT on washers not working (of all things!) so asked the bloke if they had to be there and he said the same so I took it home, pulled them out and sent it in with two holes in the front bumper. Passed but got an advisory note saying "Headlight washers removed".

    I believe the cup uses a different radiator, possibly shared with a diesel Clio? Don't need to squeeze an aircon rad in the cup.

    Change the fluid first! It may save you a lot of time, money and ruined hands. Even my completely mullered pump that had tuned all the fluid black and sounded like a supercharger responded well to a fluid change.

    Probably the PAS pump. Was on mine. Fluid change helped it but it was utterly shagged by the time I decided to do something about it and the fluid had turned black.

    I was quoted around £600 for belt and dephaser by Ren7oaks who should be local to you. Obviously this includes aux belt kit as well. Dunno how much for fluids etc but I wouldn't pay someone to do that anyway.
