They are noisey engines anyway with them being direct injection If you have modding in mind go for 5w40 oil rather than the 5w30 as that quiets them down

Check your rubbers in engine cover as when i put mine back on they had pushed into the airfilter housing and that causes the metal heatshield to vibrate

Yeah there the ones Little tip .....tie wrap tied in a loop each end of the coil pack pulls them out perfectly and if they are a little gunked its a sign of the pcv gone

Looks good on those wheels ive just done cam follower , rev G and pcv and my car feels like its been mapped My diverter valve was split completly Cam follower was worn but not massivly Pcv was pretty gunked up but eventualy ill be adding a catch can

Yeah i have a sportback so upto the 8V shape i can switch over im looking at a s3 one to tidy it up Look on audi-sport.net tlots of upgrades you can do

No point in buying a pump unless its uprated internals that end with spring on sits in the follower but inside engine

if your refreshing those bits it will be worth replacing your PCV also
