My car is standard ;)
There are no exhaust mods except for a like for like back box and an STi panel filter, it is running standard boost on the original ecu, standard tyres and brakes, what more do you want ;)
Oh and capable of 0-100 in about 11.5 so 30-100 wont make much difference :D...
You can try Prosport in Stockport, they have a state of the art Bosch rolling road, and how good is it? ran my car 3 times after she was run in, came within a few bhp of the original power figure, its a 4wd r/r so can do both fwd, 4x4 and rwd.

cost around 70-80 quid i think
Puzzles me aswell Rich.
Considering that the S16 was nowhere near as good a car as the GTi-6, it had less power, a good 1.5 seconds slower to 60 and finding a good one is going to be pretty damn hard nowerdays, i would forget the idea of looking at these and go back to the phase 1 GTi6 (owned...
Hey Nick your getting flustered there ;)
Your right in some aspects, some people with clios can be fast, then again there are also the majority of people who cant drive them well and its only the car that flatters their mistakes.
But i do agree with your last statement where you want a fast...
Depends on where you are in the country guys n gals.
My local subaru garage charge me 55 quid an hour, the peugeot garage near where i work charges over 70 quid an hour.
220 quid down south would be 2 hours labour at 70 quid an our (140) oil at 30 quid (170) washer bottle fluid, oil filter...
Sorry to say this, but you put your car on a rolling road at your own risk, and you should have a rev cutout at under 7k on a williams (6.5k redline if i remember correctly).
You have to also consider that they do not know what condition your engine is in, i could put a clapped out heap on a...
That torque figure seems very odd, considering its a car with 118lbs to start with, an exhaust and chip aint going to give you more than say 10lbs (not 46lbs!), though your power figures seem quite reasonable for the mods.

Wongy, not quite right, they have had engine failures, but not the Vtec part.
For an unbiast opinion, you need to speak to Rich D who has had both cars (a cup and a CTR).

If you can afford the running costs then go for it, you wont regret it!
The biggest difference you will notice between a hot hatch and a car like the Impreza is that you dont need to rag the ass off the impreza to do anything, where as with a hot hatch you will.
The PPP will give you better...
You also need to look at the bigger picture here, driving without an MOT may seem small but it invalidates your insurance as your car is classed as unroadworthy, this has a somewhat harsher penalty (driving without insurance) than not having paid 37.50 for an mot.
