Cheers for advice
that was my first guess but in my experience dave they usually have a whining tyre noise? my problem sounds more like a jet or very loud fan im not the best as describing noises lol
To be sure im gonna get the spare wheel out.
So I bought a clio with a loud (fan or jet) type noise which kicks in at 35 mph continues through the mph not changing in consistency or loudness with clutch in or changing gears or moving up the mph's

Hi my clio 2003 was having problems with fuel management I assumed best idea would be to buy same year and model of clio which I did.

Now everything is all...
i will see if I can salvage a short ignition loom hopefully the ecu isn't gone. had to replace the airbag ecu that was a nuisance.

Bad news guys the problem is back only now its revving around 3000rpm's and back firing every 5 seconds.
I will check the throttle body tomorrow seems like the cold weather is a catalyst to my problem as both times where at night and only had it on the road maybe 10 mins then parked her up 30...
i cleaned her up (throttle body, inlet manifold, airfilter, cleaned all wiring gear box earth, pedal sensor and any dirty oily bits around the engine)
