just done a new belt when the timing belt and dephaser was done last week so its a brand new alternator belt fitted along with that. So that belt should be fine to keep on. Its not orig radio in the car so no radio code required and yep already disconnected battery mate thanks tho lol How do I...

Might not be fixed in time for Thursday by time I find cheapest option alternator and remove and refit it. But will hopefully make next one if I cant make this one. Thanks sburrell93

brilliant mate was quite worried about it as I have aircon in my car and it is quite a tight squeeze just didn't know best way of tackling it and don't wanna cause myself more hassle than needed. Thanks William.

thank you am from Glasgow and quite technically minded so want to tackle the alternator myself just don't want to give myself more hassle than I need to remove it if there a quicker way.

Sorry to bother you as I am completely new to this site but could you tell me process you used to get your old alternator off as I have same issue is it bumper off n slam panel off to get it out or can you undo top engine mount and push engine back to get it out ? thanks in advance if u reply.
