I looked at quite a few 'bigger cars' and nothing really looked very fun. Can't fault the Civic so far...would definitely recommend one. Maybe just hard finding one that hasn't been thrashed more than others.
I understand why people like the Clio. Never regretted owning either of my 182s and i would go back if i needed to downsize... Clios are definitely more 'fun' due to being small.
Just think the CTR feels more grown up and MY clios were abit too rough and ready for everyday. Got a bit boring...
Logic....build quality was poor = didnt hesitate to pull the interior out.
Anyone who says the Clio's interior is nice/well made is a liar. (excluding Trophy seats which i haven't seen)
Thank you, someone who has actually owned both. More of an opinion im likely to listen to.
It wasn't owned by the 'typical' Type R owners either... The SPAX RSX coilovers are only 4 weeks old, the previous owner told me it was too low and too soft. Just needs playing with. Never seen anyone put...
Ive had my 'fun' for now though.. 2 Fully stripped 182s, was fun but winter in a metal box isnt much fun..
If needed i wouldnt hesitate to go back to a 182 though. Although at the moment, the CTR is too nice.
Best move ive ever made... General build quality is better in every way, power is so much smoother and everyone loves hearing about vtec kicking stuff...:o
so from this..
To this...
Needs raising a touch at the rear, but only had it 2 days.
Well pleased with it.
Thanks, well happy with it.
Recaro seats, 4 week old SPAX RSX (need raising slightly), Piper catback, near mint paintwork, 85k miles (which is low, most are up and over 100k!) and the lad gave me some brand new rear camber arms and heko wind deflectors and came with FSH.
Can't complain.
Sold my Gordini 182 recently and looking at getting an F1 edition 197 (My 182 was stripped and bare, so this is the sensible idea :o )
Obviously im only looking at F1s with Recaros.... But was just wondering what features come with the F1 as standard and what are optional extras?
Stuff like...
After pictures of where people have placed their eyebolts for the lapbelts of harnesses. Rear eyebolts are obviously into the rear bench holes...
So, pictures please?
