If you wanted to pay them to make you one from scratch, presumably it would be a lot easier than the first one as they've already solved the problems? How much would something like this cost then, the second time around?

Not that I'm in a position to buy, but I'd love to know how this compares money-wise to something like a Singer.

I’d hazard a guess as something starting with a minimum of 6 figures?

I figured at least that, especially when you look at things like that Prodrive Impreza.

I guess it's at least partly the case that when you're putting this many hours into something, it doesn't actually matter whether you're starting with a Mini or a Porsche, it's still going to be racking up the £ to a similar level.

It’s just the trend of restomods, they all command a very high premium.

At least with this one they finished it in a reasonable time compared to another famous mini.

I started posting my build on PH and all I got was s**t about monobodies and other s**t

You may have missed my very well hidden sarcasm there tbh

No didn’t miss it. They may have been shitty with you for no reason. But when you compare it to a well established business which has spent decades developing stuff for cars which then puts a pretty comprehensive build thread up isn’t going to get much scrutiny.

This is by no means a dig at you btw 👍

I’ve been a member since 2006, and the clientele on there is f**king hilarious. Occasionally go on just to stir the pot, never seen a bigger group of c***s get so wound up over micro details of f**k all. Pure pricks😂

Permanently online weirdos isn’t something limited to twitter and Reddit I guess 😆

Didn’t it start off as a TVR forum, can explain a few of the tism’s. 🥴

Pistonheads is full to total w*****s. The only good thing about that forum is that it keeps all the bellends in one place.

I would assume it was an expensive bill. from memory its the director of Powerflex who commissioned it and its stickered up so much (again I assume) because the company paid for it not him directly.
