Yep I think monied people putting in collections.

Harry Metcalfe had his for years and Neil Clifford been talking about his on Chris Harris podcast on last couple.

I know it was chassis number 1 and from the Renault collection but at over 15,000 miles crazy, but that was the market a few years back crazy

We have a thread running on the Trophy forum documenting sales through Collecting Cars over the last few years.

Makes for interesting reading if you’re into that kind of thing.

I love this and hate it at the same time. I love it because you can see it looks genuine (I always look for that little bit of sponge under the bonnet near the NS front wing – very few have this). I hate it because I’d want to remove all the surface rust and make it look new – which costs more money!

I'd also want it to look like new too John -

It's a real shame the wheels are a little chewed up as they still have the original Speedline sticker on them, Obviously they will go when you have them refurbished.

Great find though -
