Clio Trophy #56 recaros

Hi, I am the proud owner of Clio trophy #56 and unfortunately the #56 recaros are not with the car, I believe they are in another 172/182 of some sort. I am interested in tracking these seats down and any information on the wearability of these would be appreciated, thanks

Replica plaques are available for the seat runners on ebay if you need some.

Do you know why they were removed? Assuming swapped with buckets and not standard seats?

This might be a totally coincidence but….. I bought some Trendlines a couple of weeks ago from someone in Wales who buys, sells, repairs car seats. He said he got them off a guy ages a go also living on Wales who got them out a Trophy that was being turned into a track car and they’ve just been in storage ever since.

The guy gave me some bases which he got with them but I’m 90% sure the bases are from a Megane so I thought maybe he lied and actually sold me some Megane Trendlines - but there was nothing in it for him to make a lie up as I never asked if they were Trophy seats.
The guy I bought them off had all sorts of seats and bases for sale so he’s either made a mistake with the bases or lost the originals and fobbed me off with Megane ones.

I guess without the bases I can’t confirm these seats are from 56? But I’ve attached a pic of the seats and one of the bases for info.

Look like megane bases to me. R26 recaros are identical apart from the bases.

Yeh I agree, but the story he told is way too similar to the history of 56’s seats to be a coincidence?

Either way I’m after a 182 driver seat runner if anyone has one

056’s had a small burn on the drivers side seat alcantara towards the centre
