Esim for europe holidays

Got a couple of holidays with friends this year.

Normal family holidays, phone will be off apart from evening connected to WiFi.

My phone contact doesn't have roaming (three) and when adding it on costs a fortune.
As going with friends, will need to be in touch every so often looking for recommendations of esim for europe/Spain that people have used in the past.

Colleague at work used these recently for a trip to South Africa, and I’ll be using the same for my trip (also to SA) in a couple of weeks time.

He said it was dead easy to setup and use and the data Usage was pretty minimal (had WiFi at their accommodation)

I use a swim on ID mobile(three) alongside my normal contract and sin on 1p mobile (EE) I get 32gb a month in Europe on ID and 12gb on 1p
