Whilst I'm on, does the Clip cone with a power lead that you plug into the mains??
I've connected it to thr laptop but no power at all, does it also have to be plugged into the obd port to get power? silly question lol

I believe they get all their power needed from USB.

You were partially correct mate as usb does do something on the interface from memory, but needs to be in the obd to work fully 😄

Yeah i think i remember having to plug in to USB to set the firmware drivers up first.
I've not used it for years, it was a mates that i borrowed at the time.

Genuine question. How does one go about getting their hands on a working version of the clip software/hardware.
I've seen the ones on alibaba etc. Just don't 100% trust it will work. Unless people on here can vouch(?)
Obviously a genuine Renault kit. Including laptop, will be exsesively expensive and a needle in a haystack to find.
