Can't believe there's not a thread on this already. New extraction based PvPvE game and it looks really good. Downloaded it the other day and look forward to getting into it. Anyone else tried it?

Looks cool from what I've seen. Bit too sci-fi for me though I think.

Played the release demo that they had - thought that was pretty good.

Know a few at work who play it and highly rate it.

Yep roadmap even for next few months looks solid too.

It's so good. I've had games where I've helped people loot for certain items or take down ARC's and I've had games where I claim to be friendly and then shoot them in the back. There's really nothing quite like it 😂
You one of these guys that hangs about the escape elevators hiding in bushes?

Good night last night got myself the Osprey blueprint too. Spent literal hours looking for this Magnetron though 😩

I wouldn't mind, I don't play it, but I've watched people play it, like Tomographic

I still feel bad for what I did to someone at extraction the other night. I was properly cutting it tight with seconds left trying to get to last extract seemed like someone had already called it in probably thinking they was the last one in the game before I run up out of nowhere and killed them.

It was a completely pointless kill too because the extraction auto closed before I could even loot them. 100% ruined the whole raid for that person. In my defence though I had some solid loot and instinct took over.

I’ve become a Raider today, really enjoying it.

No better feeling than calling for extraction, getting fucked up by a few drones and crawling to extraction and living.

Have no idea about the crafting though. Just Raiding with the most basic of loadouts.

From last night.. Toro 4 in solos bunch of people were teamed up and I created mayhem and this was the result. There was more bodies out of view too 😂. Too much goop to carry 😩

So............ made the fatal mistake of thinking that this game when played in solo was exactly that. Then realised that my Lvl 0.1 peashooter wasn't actually doing much against some enemy who was moving far too well for a bot. FFS - PvP is in every bit of this, isn't it?! :p

I must have been really lucky on my first dabble as I didn't encounter anything other than robot opposition s**t. Now I've found that the 2025 iteration of campers simply hang around exit elevators, waiting for Lvl 1 numb-nuts like me to try to escape and get home. When you're at that low a level and in solo, you've one half of sweet FA chance of getting out of there alive.

I'll squad-up with others at work and probably enjoy it more - but I'm not really a fan of PvP stuff these days. Having completed both Division games, I avoided the Dark Zone like a dose of herpes. Conversely, the pure PvE aspect of Warframe where I clocked nearly 2,700 hours in, I found way more fun in working as a team towards an objective. I get the tension, the competition and dare I say 'fun' of backstabbing players that you've befriended in PvP - but I simply CBA with dying at the hands of some so-called teammate again and again. Probably funny when you're 12. Just f**king annoying when you're older.

Might have a short shelf-life this for me - but we'll see.

Solos is supposed to be the least PvP mode btw 😂

Raider hatch key is a must if you can and plan on having good loot. Use augments with safe pockets too if you can but if you go with no augment you also get a safe pocket. Occasionally I'll go in with absolutely nothing besides a safe pocket if I'm looking to get a blueprint or taking a key to loot a room.

Sometimes you have to be strategic with an extract too. Listen out for people dying when it's called earlier in the game or waiting until last minute to extract yourself. Scout the area too or throw a lure grenade in the likely hiding spots.

I don't mind the PvP but extract campers or people that backstab are the worst and they are only doing it because they suck at the game.

lol, I have completely the opposite experience in Solo. I must have done 30+ Raids now and have not been killed by a player once. Every time it has just been don't shoot exchange of messages and crack on with your game.

I've even had random people just come and revive me and then run off.
