I miss my 172 Cup

Car  172 Cup 2003
I have had 2 Clio 172s, my first was a 172 FF was my 172 Cup which was my pride and joy but I sold her about 12 years ago as I was pinch and simply had to.

I have regretted this ever since.

I’m now at a point in my life where I can look to get one and keep hold of it for my kids, I hope I can find one….my Dad sold a car years ago and has regretted it even to this day at 81!!….i don’t want this to be my regret of never getting to own one again 😭

There's not many for sale, but im sure you'll find one over the coming months.
You looking for a standard car, modified or just see what comes up
 
ive been there with the elise.

Sold the first regretted it and 3 years later bought the second. Sold that one when COVID came because i needed the money. Regret that also but 6 years later i was in the market for another and my old one came up so had to have it.

Great to hear mate! I am sure I will get there eventually. I think my old one has probably been scrapped.
 
I bought mine 12 years ago as a cheap trackday car. Still got, and I’m probably too attached to it now to ever sell it. It’s so simple, and fun, and I can do most of the jobs on it myself. Although I’ve been putting off reupholstering the headlining, which I removed a year ago. I quite like the tinny, race car ambience without it.

I also need to do the belts, which are overdue. I’ll probably chicken out and pay someone to do them as I don’t have the timing tool and don’t want to balls it up.
