I miss my 172 Cup

I have had 2 Clio 172s, my first was a 172 FF was my 172 Cup which was my pride and joy but I sold her about 12 years ago as I was pinch and simply had to.

I have regretted this ever since.

I’m now at a point in my life where I can look to get one and keep hold of it for my kids, I hope I can find one….my Dad sold a car years ago and has regretted it even to this day at 81!!….i don’t want this to be my regret of never getting to own one again 😭

Exactly the decision I made 3 years ago, I'm sure everyone feels this way about the generation of car they had when they were younger but genuinely modern "fun" cars are just too heavy, too capable and don't get me started on ADAS.

ive been there with the elise.

Sold the first regretted it and 3 years later bought the second. Sold that one when COVID came because i needed the money. Regret that also but 6 years later i was in the market for another and my old one came up so had to have it.

Great to hear mate! I am sure I will get there eventually. I think my old one has probably been scrapped.
