Phase 1 front bumper mislining

Hey there fellas,
just wondering, my front bumper does not sit right, probably due to that crash protection poly inside.
Should I remove it permanently? has anyone done it?

Yeah I have the same issue but only on one side the bumper is sitting away slightly. I’m going to try and grind back the white plastic unit behind the bumper to get it to fit right

To follow up on this, took the bumper off and it looks like the steel brackets that the bumper fixings mount into are pretty thin steel so prone to sagging.

I was able to bend these brackets upwards and inwards a bit which improved the fit. Not perfect but better than before
