Should look better with a stance like that.
Nice birthday present by the way. I am using a mk3 clio aswell for my driving test...tomorrow. Love the way It is sooo easy to drive. I want a stanced mk3 after I've finished with my teenage style project.
Famous impreza growl coming from round the corner only to appear is a ....clio. Going to puzzle a lot of car enthusiasts with this.
Would be a good car for santa pod too. Thats one serious car and i hope the project sails to the finish lune with no problems.
Inspiring
Probably not a good thing when someone like me says I like that. Love the alloys, would love an oldskool bmw sitting on them. The gold sidestrips etc are definatley out of the box but I reckon with your wheel combination it will work. I hope so for you anyway.
Sweet ride.
Exhaust painted black instead of the chrome. And no microwave aint going in the dash lol.Tablet is a nightmare on forums. Keeps messing up the pic uploads and text.
Tried to make the twin dtm pipe more subtle, so it doesnt poke out as much. I've placed it at an angle, why....just like it.
Battery getting a slow charge as i'll be fitting another one in the boot. When i do the setup i want to have 2 batteries with the same voltage level/charge.
Think i'm...
On your 1.2 engine, was there not a rectangular shaped box that connects to your standard air filter?
I have a ph2 but just realised yours isnt. Want to make a diy intake like that but it doesnt lookk that simple on mine.
Love the bargain hunting btw.
Used 2 self tappers to secure the spoiler and now molding som cellulose putty to blend and bond the spoiler more permanantly. blue carbon fibre vinyl is a base for the black vinyl chequred look. Basically making a chess board roof
OMG you legend. That is f*cken sick! Please carry on with this as i'm going all out like this too. Trying to keep up with the current scene at the same time but love body kitted cars.
Love it!!!
Hopefully my bass will compete with yours. Hoping for an 18" sub to go with my twin 12" at the...
Wow my insurance ain't nowhere near that. The cheapest quote i've got so far is 1400 a year. Thats by putting mummy n daddy as named drivers, on my own cheapest is 4200 on a £300 car I would never claim on if written off.
Too many cars on here kinda look too similar. Just another clio with...
Aaahhh right, thanks Mendizmo, I kinda see a bigger picture now. Being an eighties baby, growing up in the late 90's 2000+ i've grew up seeing fully kitted out cars. So as a young boy its what's been embedded into my brain as cool. Falling in love with bikes distanced me away from car culture...
Yeah I think my massive collection of max power, redline and fastcar magazines played a big part in this.
And none of them are a recent issue. The constructive comments are great, they help me a lot and hopefully help build a nice car.
Yeah I need new specs lol, mine are ariund 12 months overdue.
The bumper aint sprayed properly yet, just trying to grt the right shade s I mix the paint myself.
When I get the correct shade tge kit will be sprayed properly.
Excuse my spelling and grammar, using a tablet which is a nightmare to...
I've got duck tape covering the hole right now till I fabricate a bung or fill the whole with fibreglass and filler.
My last post people, am on the wrong forum.
Started trying to colour match the car to the kit. Might do a full wrap on the weekend for a matt blue look. Or might just keep trying...
I see what you mean, constructive criticism like that is much appreciated. Mates dont say nothing as i've always got mad looking vehicles. I wont even dare show you my previous projects' lol.
BonnetI need to explain somethstripes I done using black vinyl. Also fitted a sunstrip. Headlights are tinted with the ILLEGAL 100w bulbs. Need new legal 65w bulbs as I thought the tint would tone the light down but has made no difference. Headlights need redoing though, or might get some angel...
Wow thanks. 1st compliment lol.
Took the door cards off, sanded them down with wet and dry whilst spraying a degreaser cleaner on them, washed them clean, primered, painted then clear coated. Can be done in a day but makes a huge difference to the boring budget hatchback interior.
I am hoping to use this little car for a couple months till i've got my passpluss and have a friendlier insurer. I know what you mean, I do feel too old for the car but will soon have something better and rear wheel drive.
Of forgot to mention i have 1.6 clio petrol engine I would love to fit in...
