Renault phoned saying that the engine had been starved of oil and that the crank and pistons have gone and need replacing, the guy said that he would try and get a new engine instead of having it repaired. But he did say that as i' ve only had one service at 24k that i may have to pay, I say...

Yeah had this pump and hose go just over 2 months back, and seems to have happened again leeking fluid(red crap) all over the drive making a mess. I notice that there was a problem when i heard a whinning noise coming from engine and the steering kept getting hard and harder glad i was nealy...
