Had this problem for ages and the car constantly cut out at junctions so i disconnected the cold start valve sensor as it was overfuelling and now its fine.

Got quoted 3600 tptf with elphant for when im 17 on the valver, better get a job!

My valver was starting fine then once warmed up cutting out as the revs dropped, it felt really lumpy. It went into a garage and they couldnt find the problem so yesterday i took the bonnet off and disconnected the cold start injector plug as it seemed to be over fueling that caused the cut out...

Thanks it could be that tdc sensor then because the coolant hose split so there was some major overheating. Ill give it a shot

Drivin from isleworth to north wales we got well under 150 miles out of the tank, and there was a strong smell of petrol. Since discovered that the injector ril was lose and 2 injectors were pissin fuel all over the engine, might be a bit more econimical now its fixed. (and safer)

The yellow fuel injectros were replaced on my 16v with green ones from the 19 16v is this likely to cause ne probs or are they identical apart from colour?

Yeah that was my dads view on the subject, ive got the money to get it insured so i might do it when im 17 but yeah it would be a bit dangerous. I might just keep it in the garage till im about 20 then bring it out. I think my dads enjoyin drivin it at the moment cos he crashed his motorbike so...

Im 16 and got mine in november. My mum got a Daewoo Matiz so i gave her £300 for her Valver. My dads usin it for now but i can get stupidly high insurance in septrmber.

Im collecting my valver tommorow with a new engine it, cos it blew up a couple of months back and was just wondering if anyone knew what you have to do in terms of registering it and things like that. thanks:confused:

theres a few of them cameras round here in northwales, but my dad goes out on his motorbike with the police bikers and they said there traffic master, not speed cameras they just give indications of traffic flow.

No the pressure was fine, then the engine started making some dodgy clankin noises and the pressure dropped suddenly, the oil light didnt come on untill the pressure had gone completely. The oil was checked b4 we set off 2 and it was fine. We didnt lose any oil either.

same thing happened on my 16v on sunday, the oil pump went so no oils getin through, the cost of fixing it just isnt worth it so i need a new engine 2

will that maker accelerate slightly quicker, isnt it a closer ratio?

Enigines blown up in my 16v, so ive gotta get a new engine, if i manage to find a williams engine will it mate onto the old gearbox, or will i need that 2.
