Two local dealers offered me a Cup for £11,500. In the end I ordered one with CC for £12K. Theres no reason why any Renault dealer in the UK shouldnt be able to offer exactly the same deal. Go talk to them, its a buyers market. (
Ordered my Cup on 26th July, was originally told 6-8 weeks and delivery would be approx 3rd week in Sept. Got my letter from Reno the other day saying 15th Oct delivery. Checked with my dealer, he reckons factory is closed for whole of August so delivery is a bit later than normal.
So it...
Well that was a good little debate. Anyway, Ive decided to stick with the blue. I managed to view a Cup and a Silver 172 with cup alloys and cup badges almost side by side today. (these 2 cars are always near each other in Billingham, anyones on here???). Anyway they both looked very nice...
I ordered a cup a few weeks back, due mid october. At the time I decided on Blue as thats the colour 99% of cups are and I felt that was one of the things that made it a cup. And of course it looks good. BUT now Im starting to wonder whether silver would have been a wiser choice. If Id gone...
How easy are these things to fit ? And do you have use a pipe to route hot air on to the filter???
Planning to fit one to my cup, if reno ever get round to making it. (expected mid october now)
did 145 in my williams once, on my private motorway of course, it was scary! Things just go by waaay too fast! Once I get my cup and its nicely run in I might see what it can do.
My old R5 Turbo managed 125 before melting the turbo sensor and almost bruning out the car!
Those were the...
Theres no finance deal, so I guess its not GAP insurance. What the salesman said was in the event of me writing-off the car, this policy covers the difference between what I paid (£12K) and what my insurance pay out (current market value). So in theory if I write the car off within 3 years Im...
Well I couldnt wait any longer, I had to order one! I managed to get a 53 plate Cup , due late September, with Climate Control for £12,000. I didnt think this was a bad deal considering it was from a main dealer.
I was very impressed on the test drive, its fast as ****! Very very...
Ive found a dealer who will do me a half decent deal on a Clio Cup, £11,500 , does anyone think this can be beaten? If so Ill push for more discount!
But Im pondering over climate control, its an extra £695 I think, but is it worth it? Can anyone whos got it please comment?
Cheers.
Thanks for all the info, I now have a couple more queries...
Just how bad is the cup in the wet ? I presume if youre sensible its OK? I remember losing my Williams once in the wet but it wasnt too bad. My wife will occasianally have to use the car so I dont want her to wrap it round a...
Hello all,
Im new to this forum, I only stumbled across it while researching the clio cup. I used to own a Williams, (no 157 if anyones got it?!) it was the best car Ive ever owned, but for some strange reason I sold it back in 1998 after 2.5 years of boy racer heaven ownership (I spent...
