Theres not a fat lot you can look at on a caliper, its just a big metal thing. Best to check your brake hoses as well as the master cylinder, you might also wanna check your pads arent dead and that squealing is metal rubbing on metal.
You can either have a plastic one cut into your bonnet which will crack and look poo or you can stop being a lazy c**t and just fit new lights and get a proper valver bonnet. All you have to do is get some phase 1/2 front lights, theyll bolt straight in, then a valver bonnet will fit a treat...

Does anyone read what I post or does the fact Im not admin mean no-one listens???
READ WHAT I POSTED, cars DO NOT need cats no matter how old they are, if they pass the emissions...
You must not past go and you must forfeit your get out of jail free card.
Youll be required to remot the car and produce the new document in 14 days, I assume. Can you honestly see a copper climbing under your car to check its got a CAT? You cant even get under my car unless you spend 5...
WRONG! It is not compulsary to have a CAT, the law does not state every single car after 93 must have a CAT fitted at all times, manufcaturers must fit the cars with a CAT but if the car passes its emmissions tests without a CAT no matter what age that its fine. I know many a people with N-reg...
Never listen to anyone from Halfords, especially a women!! How did you manage to f**k up the thread? Its only a matter of pulling it out and pushing it back in again, so to speak ;)
Leave the RSC sticker on, best bit of the car!!!
Tis a tidy motor though, Ive driven it before and its not bad at all, enjoy! BTW when you came round to look at his car, I was the one stumbling about his drive feeling extremly hungover and looking like I was gonna chunk hehe
Surely with the money you spend turboing a 1.2 (very expensive I should imagine) you could buy a R5 lump, have it fully rebuilt and uprated and have something a lot more tuneable and equally as reliable? Not saying dont do it, just pointing out the options! 1.2 turbo your looking at 110bhp...
Checked to make sure summit int lodged in your discs? Make sure the arch linings are all solid an all, if you cant see owt, turn the stereo up and ignore it.
£150 for steel wheels?!?!??!?!?!?! Are we talking about normal steel wheels, the ones you put wheel trims on?! Or do these fold in Back to the Future style and enable you to fly?
Mate of mine runs a bodyshop in Brummy, had the kitted blue RSI, might have seen it on RSC club stand at shows last year. If you want his number, PM me
Mines done 55mm on front on 15s and it scrubs on full lock on the inner arch liners. Itll be tight on 16s but get rid of arch liners and it should be rate.
Front 55mm, back on that pic is errrrr dunno prob 110mm if not more, basically as low as you can go on the back, it was riding on bump stops. Tis raised to a more sensible height now, still prob around 90mm on back. Didnt measure hub from ground when I lowered back, just guessed lol
This is...

Did mine too low first time around, raised it day after, not quite as low at back as that now! But its easy enough to do if youve got right tools.
Hardest part is gettin the dust caps off, mine looked like they were stuck on with superglue when I finally got the buggers off, after that it was all simple. Worst you can do is what I did, listen to a mate stood at side of me saying jack hubs up rate high so its dead low, so I did, drive home...
Sod slide hammer, I used a socket with about 5 big washers on the end, nut and bolt, screw bolt with socket, then washers, then nut on, tighten up nut which pushes on socket and pulls torsion bar out. Easy as owt.
