yer i can copy audio tracks onto cds ok and play them but only in WAV format. It doesnt appear to like to play cds written in MP3 format, i just wondered if there were any "tweaks" that could be made to fool it !

It appears from the enquiries ive already made for my 172 whichever unit you go for you will lose the dashboard display for the radio etc although apparently you wont lose the temp and time display. Sony units are the easiest to replace and apparently Kenwood do a few that will also fit...

Can you honestly see any Renault dealer buying in a second hand 172 without a factory fitment? I cant. If anyone is to blame i would suggest it is Renault. well i put the new ball in ..... tested it and a guy passing the front of my car said .... hey !! something just flew from the front of your car !! lol ...... so thats why its now in with superglue lol what a crap piece of equipment lol i recon my jets could kill someone from 50 paces haha...

Well guys i changed the ball so here is hoping it stays in !! I did add a little superglue around the edge just to help it stay in there ....... heres hoping thanks for the tips guys
