Found the service book out, Was serviced 25.10.03 12252 miles 14.10.03 26708 miles No date but at 34681 miles sj autos 01969613131 3.5.07 49962 miles 5.5.08 no miles on book elite cars, doncaster 22.3.10 with cambelt change at 65176miles Iv now bolted the harnes to the Seat belt bolting points

im also may be getting this noise, try pressing the clutch and see if it gets worse or better, then get back to me. my clutch makes a funny noise when pressed and i dont mean the squeaky noise coming from the pedal it actualy sounds like its coming from the clutch plate.

its not the squeak that you get from the pedal its actualy coming from the engine or clutch, bit like when u press the clutch and you get thrust bearing noise. when u press the clutch all the way in and keep it there it does it at its worst then. iv never heard come across it before on another car.

hya all, i originaly thaught it was a squeeky fan belt, but after some investigation its coming from the clutch when i press it down, even what when not moving and in neutrel. any idea what it is and is it a easy fix.

thinking of just making some at weekend. has any body got any pics one ones theyve made or adapted to there original sliders ect. for my 172 cup

hya iv stripped my clio 172 cup out ready for cage, buckets, harnesses ect, but i also want it as tidy looking as possible (as it looks like a scrapyard wreck inside). like hiding wires, getting rid of unwanted brackets ect, plus i want to paint the inside. whats the best way to go around this...

im also after some sort of door cards for my stripped out 172, just cut a cardboard template and then trace it onto it. where can i get the plastic sheet from to do it!!

whats involved to split the dash. i want to flock and keep the top half. but lose the bottom.

drop it untill its scrubbing then just raise it a teeny weeny bit!!!;)

just picked up my 2002 clio sport cup 172 and must say i love it, goes like sh@t and handles like its on rails its going to be a track/road dayproject. please be gentle any advice on modding, roll cages, buckets, tuning ect

hya im a nooob iv currently got a bora turbo but realy fancy a ren sport clio, for track days and just fun driving ect. so hopefully il be getting one soon and joining you lot in the fun. :D
