I have done two oil changes on my 172 and it takes the best part of 5l but no more.

Just did my 6,000 mile oil change. What a bi*ch the 1,500 mile one was easier but only a little. I swear by Silkolene Pro 5w 40 as recommended to me by Brun the oil God.

172 to 60 and 100 Seat has a higher top speed. Cupra easy/cheap to get more power though. Both similear kit, 172 a little cheaper. Both look good. Up-to-you.
